Where there’s a big budget comic book movie, there’s a whole raft of merchandise that goes with it. The next release in the DCEU is to be no different. ‘The Suicide Squad’ is getting the Funko Pops treatment, and will include something you might not expect, but it’s a very cute King Shark (to be played by one of my all time favourites in Sylvester Stallone) figure. Ok, so it’s only seen on the back of the one of the other Task Force X members box, but he does look to be adorable. The others look pretty great too.
In this first wave of The Suicide Squad Funko Pop figures, there will be two versions of Harley Quinn, bloodsport, Peacemaker, Polka-Dot Man, Ratcatcher II w/Sebastian, Rick Flagg and of course, King Shark.
These figures have not yet been officially announced by Funko. However, like others before, including pops for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, these are out there, ready for those hardened Funko Pop fans to search for and pick up.
These are great, I have a good number of Funko Pop figures myself and these look to be ones that I’ll certainly have to hunt down myself. How about you, will you be picking these up? Please let us know.
