Amazon Prime announced a new Batman game exclusive to Amazon Prime members titled Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles.
The game launches on July 31st on Amazon’s Luna gaming service in conjunction with the season two premiere of Batman: Caped Crusader. It is a cooperative crime-solving party game that can hold up to four players. Players can use their phones as the controllers.
‘Batman: Caped Crusader- Chronicles’ Description
Check out the official game description:
As a crew of detectives, you’ll step into the dark, noir-soaked streets of Gotham City to become part of a special GCPD task force and Batman’s inner circle. Alongside Detective Montoya, you’ll interrogate, investigate, and deduce your way through 11 episodic missions, each featuring a distinct sleuthing minigame that tests your detective skills. Working together, you’ll foil Batman’s Rogues Gallery of villains, including Babyface, Scarecrow, Dollmaker, and even The Joker.
Beyond sharing the general animation style of Caped Crusader, the game also has the voice actors from the show reprising the game. So Hamish Linklater will return as Batman and Michelle C. Bonilla as Renee Montoya. Given that the game is a television show tie-in on a streaming platform, it is more for the casual gamer. The idea is that viewers can watch Caped Crusader, then afterwards get a personal experience of what it’s like to be Batman solving crimes.
Chronicles is available for all Amazon Prime and Luna subscribers in U.S., UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Batman: Caped Crusader season two premieres on July 31st.
