Pictures have surfaced online of a brand new Funko POP Batman figure and Funko POP ride Batmobile from the forthcoming 2022 movie The Batman. The pictures began appearing on various Batman and Funko fans’ social media pages a couple of weeks ago and show Robert Pattinson’s Batman in his new Batmobile, based on a muscle car.
Unfortunately, you don’t get a great look at his new costume, but what is noticeable is the stitching in his cowl and the detailing on the Batmobile. The POP that you see in these pictures looks like a prototype, so the design may change before it’s released.
It’s also worth noting that Funko hasn’t confirmed this POP themselves and a lot of the posts and images of the POP have actually been removed from social media and google search, so it remains unclear if this is real or custom made. I do really hope that it’s real because it’s an awesome-looking POP Ride.
The fan website Robert Pattinson Australia has reported that there will be 6 Funko Pop Regular size, 1 Funko Pop 10 inch, 2 Pop Rides (Batmobile and Bat-Cycle?), 4 POP key chains, and 3 plush toys inspired by the new movie. They don’t have any images of the rumored POPs just yet and again they haven’t been officially confirmed by Funko themselves, so we’ll just have to wait until an official announcement has been made.
