Director Matt Reeves has teased production of the solo-Batman movie on social media.

On Twitter, Reeves posted pictures detailing an exhibit of the 1966 Batman TV show. With scant any news on the progress of the solo-Batman movie, fans took the tweets as a sign. Could Reeves be hinting that pre-production could start soon on the film?

With a myriad of rumors swirling around the movie, one even wonders if this solo-Batman will ever see the light of day. However, Reeves may be indicating that the script may be close to completion. Back in August, at the Television Critics Association’s Summer Press Tour, Reeves talked about the status of the Bat-film.

We are working on getting our draft [in] the next couple weeks. Right now, my head is totally into the script. Right now, I’m going to be leaving here to go back to work on the script. There are ways in which all of this connects to DC, to the DC universe as well. We’re one piece of many pieces so I don’t want to comment on that except to say that I’m focused very specifically on this aspect of the DC world.

Despite many such formal announcements, fans are still eagerly awaiting a new Bat-movie. However, since there are no other people attached to the film, Reeves is practically the only source of information. Fortunately the director still seems committed to making the movie happen. Now it is hopefully just a matter of time before we receive more concrete details.
