We all love Batman, but who among us would actually want to be the Batman? Well, all of us, but I’m sure several of us simply don’t have the drive, money, or time to train to be the Batman. You may meet some cosplayers who work to achieve the physique of the Bats, but what about his combat skills?

Vlogger Michelle Khare decided to take that challenge. She’s an athlete who regularly engages in workout regimens similar to the actors who play our superheroes on screen and a few days ago, she published a video to YouTube about training like Batman.

She began her journey by sitting down and speaking with Richard Citrone, the lead stuntman for Batfleck in the DC movie universe thus far. From there, she began training with champion knife thrower, Jack Dagger to hone her Batarang-chucking abilities. Jack Dagger recently did a special for Cartoon Network about Batarangs.

From there, Michelle trained in a special martial art known as Krav Maga, which focuses on self-defense and counterattacks, the emphasis of this video being weapon disarming.

But watch it for yourself! It’s really quite awesome.

Her fight scene in the end, while a little corny, provides a pretty impressive display of what she learned over the course of the month. Hey, I can’t do it nor am I planning to, so huge kudos to her. My only gripe is why continue wasting Batarangs when the guy has a shield? I don’t think Batman would do that.
