Infinite Crisis, WB’s forthcoming Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA), looks to feature superheroes and villains of different worlds. First on the list is Nightmare Batman and Wonder Woman. Click the jump to see more.
A couple weeks ago, Warner Bros. Interactive announced a new MOBA game that would feature DC superheroes. In the announcement trailer, we got a glimpse of some CGI cut scenes featuring a meteorite falling to the Earth from the perspectives of three different Batmen. As Batfans, I’m sure you guys wanted to know exactly who these Batmen were and as MOBA fans, I’m sure you guys wanted to know how these characters played.
Well, the folks at Warner Bros. have just given us a look at the gameplay for this much-anticipated MOBA game featuring our favorite superheroes with Champion Profiles of Nightmare Batman and just so that Batman doesn’t hog all the glory – even though he should – they’re giving us Wonder Woman as well.

I’m not at all a MOBA gamer. Being an OG Warcraft III fan, I wasn’t particularly impressed with DOTA, the precursor to the wildly popular League of Legends. I’m aware that LoL isn’t the definitive MOBA game around, but DOTA was my first impression of one and I wasn’t too fond of the gameplay. Color me bias. I’m not a fan of either these of Champions thus far, but I gotta admit the Gaslight characters do look interesting. If either of the other Batmen turn out much more fun, I might give this game a try.
Turbine Studios are currently developing Infinite Crisis. There is no set release date for the game, but Beta testing is in progress. You can sign up here.
