The History of the new president of DC, Jim Lee
Previously, Jim Lee illustrated X-Men at Marvel. However, due to creative control disputes, he and other top Marvel artists left the company to found Image Comics.
After a wildly successful launch at Image, DC eventually bought his portion of the the company, the Wildstorm imprint. This allowed DC to use Lee’s artistic talent and the characters from that universe.
After a string of successful comic runs, like Batman: Hush, Superman: For Tomorrow, and Justice League, DC promoted Lee to Co-Publisher, and later sole Publisher. In 2018, DC promoted him to CCO. Lee helped spearhead such publishing initiatives like New 52, Rebirth, and the DC Universe Infinite comics streaming platform.
Everyone at Dark Knight wishes the new president of DC Comics every success.
