DC revealed its first crossover event of the All-In era called “We Are Yesterday”.
Writer Mark Waid heads the event. It crosses between his two penned books: Batman/ Superman: World’s Finest and Justice League Unlimited. It begins in World’s Finest #38 and 39 and then continue in Justice League Unlimited #6 and 7. Part 3 will be in the Batman/Superman: World’s Finest 2025 Annual.
The story follows Gorilla Grodd upgrading his threat status, as he now seems to predict the future. His power upgrade seems to also relate to the Darkseid’s apparent death in DC All In Special #1. Given how World’s Finest takes place in the past and Justice League Unlimited takes place in the future, it appears that the story will hop back and forth between the two different time periods. What could Grodd do that is so monumental that it will affect both the past and present?
DC is a little tight-lipped beyond the key details, but they did release solicitations for the first few issues.
