The latest Harley Quinn season 3 trailer is promising plenty of hijinks, the Harley and Ivy romance and… James Gunn?
We pick up where the end of season 2 left off, with Harley and Poison Ivy as a couple. Now they’re wreaking mayhem throughout the DC universe.
Amongst the other cameos, we see Harley kidnapping Amanda Waller, the Swamp Thing making out with Abby, and Batman… doing something with Catwoman. The couple also reunites with their team: King Shark, Clayface, and Frank the Plant. The biggest discovery, however, is probably that Ivy and Harley are infiltrating the Court of Owls! They might have come at the wrong time, though, because the Owls are about to engage in their… more carnal pleasures?
James Gunn on ‘Harley’
Of the most random cameos we get Suicide Squad director James Gunn himself. Of all things, Gunn’s character will be directing a Thomas Wayne movie while sitting in a vibrating Clayface massage chair and yes, that really is Gunn providing the voice.
The director expressed his excitement for the role on Twitter.

Needless to say, there’s a lot of craziness about to happen in season 3 and we’re all definitely looking forward to it!
