New Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Trailer Released

Rocksteady has finally released another trailer for their anticipated game Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League recently at The Games Awards.

It. Looks. Amazing. Check out the video of the premiere below:

Interrupting the announcer with glitches before having Amanda Waller step on stage to kindly threaten everyone about watching the confidential video was a nice touch, starting the trailer off with the right attitude. The clip itself starting with Captain Boomerang recording himself mocking Barry Allen, only to then be attacked by him, was very Suicide Squad too.

Don’t. Be. A. Hero.

In the first trailer by Rocksteady, the team’s sent to stop the Justice League who are under Brainiacs control. They’re sent there without knowing why and unhappy to have to be living up to their group’s name. It not only showed us their new character designs and the premise for the game, it delivers a good mix of cinematics and gameplay, showing us enough of the game to know a little of what to expect and also keep us guessing about what else they’re keeping hidden. Like the other bosses. This trailer exclusively shows Flash but mentions other members of the Justice League too.

The humor and personalities of the characters are spot-on too, even in just the small glimpses we catch of them. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the Justice League will be like, or who the Suicide Squad will have to fight. Surely it can’t be everyone in the League or the game would never end. Either way, I’m looking forward to when it finally comes out.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is set to be released to PS5, Xbox X/S, and PC in 2022.
