Joker will be on the Empire Magazine cover in July. One will be the newsstand cover, while the other is the subscriber version of the Joker issue. Both give us a new look at the future Clown Prince of Crime.

The subscriber cover reminds me a lot of one of the first official image of Heath Ledger’s Joker from The Dark Knight, when he was obscured behind a screen.
There hasn’t been too much news on Joker recently. At the beginning of April, we received a poster and the first trailer for the film. Then, just a couple of weeks ago, Todd Phillips revealed that the film would be getting an R rating. Warner Bros. has stated that they will not be at Hall H for San Diego Comic Con this year, so while there’s a chance we’ll get a new trailer or new poster, it’s not likely to happen there.
Joker is the next and final DC comic book film of 2019 and stars Joaquin Phoenix. Where are your excitement levels with it? Do you like the Empire Magazine covers? Let us know!
