Batman v Superman has done all the heavy lifting to lay the groundwork for Justice League, which is gearing up to begin shooting for a release date of next November. But what exactly will the film entail compared to Batman v Superman?

Snyder spoke to Yahoo! to explain how Justice League will set itself apart from both Batman v Superman and Man of Steel. “It’s slightly monumental… and at the same time they’re starting to grapple with this coming threat.”

Speaking to the tone, Snyder says, “It’s an intense, awesome, and gigantic undertaking because Bruce [Wayne] is having to go out and sort of Seven Samurai the Justice League together, which is fun.”

Producer Deborah Snyder also chimed in with what to expect from Justice League while speaking to CBR. “Justice League is a little bit lighter, ’cause some of these characters—you know, Flash tends to be a little bit more comedic, I’d say,” she explained.
