One of the Joker’s most infamous outfits was when he dressed up as a tourist, knocked on the Gordons’ front door, and crippled Barbara Gordon. It’s one of the most defining outfits he has, up there with the Red Hood look and his classic purple suit getup. Therefore, many people love to dress up as the Joker as he appeared in The Killing Joke, but Jared Leto has hinted on his Instagram that he might be joining their ranks.
This was first hinted at when he recreated the cover of The Killing Joke and posted the picture for the internet to collectively lose their minds While the video clip is just a shadow, we can clearly see the familiar outline of the Joker. The hat, the clothing, the outline is straight out of the comic.
Will we see The Killing Joke recreated in Suicide Squad? Will it just be a tip of the hat so to speak, with the outfit appearing, or a full blown flashback? We’ll be sure to tell you as soon as Leto decides he wants to tease us again.
