Warner Bros. released new posters for Justice League that spotlights each team member.
The posters feature a profile headshot of each League member with colored lighting that best represents them. Batman is casted in dark blue. Wonder Woman is in golden yellow. The Flash is in red. Aquaman is in green. Cyborg is in steel grey. Naturally, the only missing League member is Superman, which the marketing team vehemently denies will appear in the movie.
Justice League of Colors United
The collection of one-sheets however are gorgeous to look at. The idea of representing the characters based on their dominant colors is simple and effective. Additionally, another small-but stunning detail-is seeing the back of each member’s head is back lit with the color of the next poster. So, Cyborg’s head is backlit by the Flash’s red lighting and so on. It gets across that they are wildly independent, yet still unified. Plus, the headshots gives some really close up details of the characters’ masks. Like, I never knew that Batman’s mask ears were actually scalloped and not pointy.
Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.
