Marvel Comics released variant covers from the upcoming crossover special Deadpool/ Batman.
The covers are done by the top artists on Marvel’s roster: Mark Bagley, Skottie Young, Ryan Stegman, and Greg Capullo. Each cover highlights different aspects of the crossover event.

Capullo’s cover is a wraparound variant. It gives us a taste of what his interior work will look like for the comic.
Bagley’s cover seems to give the most insight into the plot. It hints that the Joker will play a role in the comic. Also note how that Batman is wearing his new, updated look that Jorge Jimenez designed for his run with Matt Fraction. The Bagley cover is also the only variant that is available in a foil edition.
The Young cover has his popular baby-versions of the characters. However, baby-Deadpool seemed to have adjusted the Bat-signal to show off his logo instead. This is something that the baby-Batman is not happy about.
The Stegman cover features an homage of The Incredible Hulk #340, where Wolverine has his claws out with the Hulk in the reflection of them. Here, Batman has three batarangs out with Deadpool’s reflection on it.
Additional Crossovers
Back when DC and Marvel announced the one-shot, they also reported that there will be back-ups with other DC/ Marvel team-ups. They finally revealed the following team-ups.
They are Daredevil and Green Arrow; Captain America and Wonder Woman; and Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto.
Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert will do Daredevil and Green Arrow. Former Batman writer Chip Zdarsky will write the Captain America and Wonder Woman crossover with Terry Dodson illustrating. Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru are the creative team for the Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto story.
Each story will also have its own variant cover. You can check out the Daredevil/Green Arrow cover by Daredevil artist Marco Checchetto and the Jeff the Land Shark/Krypto cover by Gurihiru.
Deadpool/ Batman hits comic shops on September 17th.
