Sideshow Collectibles Previews Fine Art Print of Poison Ivy

Article by Adam Poncharoensub

There are so many members of Batman’s rogues’ gallery that sometimes, it’s easy to forget some of them. While Poison Ivy does get her fair share of the spotlight, I oftentimes don’t think of her when, for instance, I’m thinking about the next live-action villain. While she may not be the most formidable foe in terms of fisticuffs, she’s evolved over the years to have some pretty crazy powers that I’m sure have proven an obstacle for the Bats.

Well, Sideshow Collectibles are seeing fit to give her some more spotlight. In their branch of premium fine art, Sideshow will be taking pre-orders on a new Fine Art Print of Poison Ivy, by Kendrick Lim. The artist’s style reflects more of an anime/cartoony style rather than comic book. He brings to life a different and gorgeous look at the flora-focused femme fatale (alliteration FTW!). Above all else, I adore the colors and inking of the backgrounds. You can see she’s likely sitting in a chamber of thorned tendrils, but the sun is shining so brightly, it’s tough to make out what’s behind her.

Take a look:

This print will be limited to a total of 250 worldwide! As a fan of this villainess, you should be at the ready come Friday, April 19th at 12PM PST, when you can purchase one for a limited time. They will be available in black or white frames until about 3PM PST. Should there be any remaining prints, they will be made available unframed on April 22nd from 12PM to 3PM PST. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any pricing at this time.

However, if you want to try your luck, you can enter for a chance to win a black-framed print! Check out this link to enter.
