Due to popular demand, the Batman: The Animated Series Blu Ray set will increase its run to 70,000 copies.

The BTAS Blu Ray set will feature the classic series in HD for the first time ever. The opening pre-order demands far exceeded the studios’ initial estimates. Hence, the increase of the copy run. Warner Bros. could not be more ecstatic. Here are the studio’s General Manager and Executive Vice President Jeff Brown’s views on the matter:

As many fans and media have noticed, Amazon and other notable retailers were forced to suspend sales of Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition due to unprecedented demand for this beloved series. Sales surpassed our initial run of 30,000 limited edition box sets about four weeks ago and, rather than leave so many fans wanting, we implemented new production orders to accommodate the requests for this prized collection. A significant portion of those increased numbers have already sold, and all sites are accepting orders again.

New Batman: The Animated Series Blu Ray Features

The Blu Ray set will come with the complete run of both BTAS and its follow-up The New Adventures of Batman. Additionally, it will contain Batman: The Mask of the Phantasm and Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero.

The 10-disc set will feature two bonus discs and special features which include – but ate not limited to – audio commentaries for select episodes and a new 90 minute long documentary titled The Heart of Batman. The set also includes three Funko mini-figurines and seven lenticular art cards.

The Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition set will be available on October 30, 2018 for $112.99.
