News broke out today that Ben Affleck could be reprising the role of Batman in 3 stand- alone Batman movies. An anonymous industry source told Den of Geek that a near-finished version of the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was screened in front of film crews and Warner Bros. head bosses.
Apparently, they liked what they saw and gave it a standing ovation. The source claimed Warner was so impressed that the studio is wanting to extend a “Golden deal” that will have Affleck star in a new trilogy of Batman films.
The source says, “Warners are now working their movie universe around Ben’s Batman.” The anonymous source says that Affleck impressed WB so much that they may start to structure their movie universe around him. It has not been confirmed yet, so take it with a grain of sand. I can’t wait to see if this becomes a done deal.
