With Warner Brothers announcing the upcoming DC cinematic universe (up until 2020), it’s hard to imagine it without the Nolans’ touch of brilliance. The Dark Knight trilogy earned WB (Warner Brothers) over 2.5 billion dollars internationally, including  a fairly successful reboot with Man of Steel.

Jonathan recently talked with comingsoon.net as part of a press conference for his latest film Interstellar.

“I love those guys and my brother was involved in ‘Man of Steel’ with Zack [Snyder] and David [Goyer],vI kind of feel like that chapter for us is closed.”

Although, he didn’t completely rule out getting involved down the track, and you could say that plenty can happen between now and 2020.

“To be continued somewhere farther down the line?” he asks with a smile. “Maybe.”

What do you think? Can Warner Brothers enjoy sustained success without the Nolans and take on Marvel?
