Another piece of the puzzle falls into place, as Nicholas D’Agosto (Masters of Sex) has joined the cast of Gotham. The young actor will play Harvey Dent, the future Two-Face. Harvey will be a recurring character in season one with an option to return in season two.
Apparently D’Agosto will go from mastering sex to mastering the courtroom as his character is described by Deadline as “a bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney whose sole mission is to eradicate the crime and corruption that has poisoned Gotham. Although he will one day serve as the white knight Gotham needs so badly as a DA, Dent also gives us a fleeting glimpse of the hideous villain he will become — Two-Face.”
Will he fill the role well? I say our chances are better than 50/50.
