Not too long ago, Scott Snyder tweeted that he has been approved to do a sci-fi Batman story. iFanboy did a spotlight podcast on Paul Pope’s Batman Year 100 with Snyder to comment on how underrated the book is and how it has influenced his writing. During the discussion, Snyder gives away some of the details on his new sci-fi Batman short story. He states that in his story Bruce Wayne will be cloning himself so that there will always have a Batman. This is interesting because similar to Paul Pope, Grant Morrison, and Neil Gaiman; they have played with the idea of a timeless Batman. Snyder will be taking a literal sense of the timeless element with the cloning aspect. It’s quite intriguing when you think about it.
