Over at the A.V. Club they posted up a story on Warner Bros. announcing Ben Affleck as the next Batman in the 2015 film titled ” Batman VS. Superman” . In the story they had a posted a quote from director Zack Snyder in regards to his thought process as to why he wanted Ben Affleck to take up the cowl.
“Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry [Cavill]’s Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne,”
