It may seem that we have not seen the last of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the actor who recently portrayed John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises, in the Batverse (note I said Bat and not Nolanverse). In a recent interview, he was questioned about if something like Justice League would be a point of interest for him:
“It always depends, I always pick projects that I want to be involved in for the same reasons. Is the script really good? Is the filmmaker a really inspired artist that I feel connected to? That’s what I always pay attention to.”
While this isn’t confirmation that we would see him as Batman in JL but it’s better than a flat out no. With the ending that we were giving in Rises (sorry to keep reading into this) I wouldn’t be surprised to see him fill the shoes so to speak. With them rebooting Batman starting with JL and then moving into his second year with his own solo fill, it makes perfect sense to have him cast.
