During a livestream on Batman Day, DC presented an amazing audio drama recording for Absolute Batman #1.
Previously the news broke that Warner Bros. was planning on making an Absolute Batman animated series. While there is no new news on that right now, fans can maybe get a peek into what the animates series can be like.
On their Batman Day livestream, notable voice actor Jeff Hays did a dramatic reading of issue number one. ays is most popular for his narrations on the audio version of the LitRPG Dungeon Crawler Carl. He has boasted of voicing over 200 distinct characters.
Not bad, huh?
Isn’t it pretty neat that not only did Hays read the entire issues, but he also provided all of the character voices-including the female ones, and sounds effects. Now if you didn’t know that was from one guy, you’d swear that it was multiple voice actors.
Hopefully the voice cast of the Absolute Batman cartoon series will have an equally engaging screen presence as Hays. Also, while we are at it, could we get Hays to do a dramatic reading of issues numbers two through six?
