There are superhumans, gods, and monsters constantly fighting and destroying cities, but you’re just trying to beat traffic to get to your 9-5. Well, this is the life NBC’s upcoming sitcom Powerless is trying to depict.
Powerless follows Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) as the Director of Research & Development at Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises, that specializes on products for ordinary humans who are poised to be victims of the battles between superheroes and supervillains. The cast also includes Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Danny Pudi (Community), and Christina Kirk (Along Came Polly). The first comedy from DC Comics is set to debut on NBC on Thursday, February 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
