The DC Shop recently showcased new merchandise that is themed after Nick Dragotta’s art in Absolute Batman.
The shop offers so much cool stuff for fans to buy. They got t-shirts, bags, leather jackets, and- most amusingly- a pin of the Bat-Axe.
The super sick leather jacket has a tonal embossed Absolute Batman emblem. It also features an embroidered leather DC logo patch on the bottom right pocket, the Absolute Batman title logo on the back, and custom DC-branded metal buttons along the collar and sleeves. This bad boy costs $199 and is available to purchase now.
Absolute Batman Pins and Shirts
DC also offers a 3D-cast magnetic replica pin of Batman’s axe. The axe is five inches long and comes in a collector’s box complete with a certificate of authenticity. Upon closer inspection, the axe pin seems to be even more intricately detailed than what the comic book version has. There seems to be some middle cross-hatching effect that gives the pin more depth and weight to it. The pin sells at $65 and is available on December 5th. You can pre-order it here.
If getting a leather jacket and pin is too pricey for Bat-fans, the DC Shop also offers a collection of t-shirts and sweaters. The t-shirts are two sided. One side features the title logo on the front. On the back, the different shirts feature the Absolute versions of Catwoman, Joker, Bane, and more. The shirts are $38.95 and the sweaters are $59.95. The most interesting item is a cool looking tote bag. The bag has Nick Dragotta’s concept art of Absolute Batman in glorious black and white. It is 16 inches by 10 inches, so it’s a big bag too. It retails at $40, but is currently sold out.
