Actor Keanu Reeves has reported that he would like to play an older version of the Dark Knight.
Fortunately for the John Wick actor, Reeves is already playing one version of Batman in DC League of Super-Pets. When interviewed for the movie, Reeves talked about how exciting it is to be another person stepping into the role of the Caped Crusader.
I love Batman as a character. I love the comics and the film. So getting the opportunity to voice… play Batman, it’s awesome.
Keanu Reeves as an Older Batman?
The conversation then turned to if Reeves was ever interested in playing a the Dark Knight live. He was a little apprehensive of the idea, since he feels that Robert Pattinson is doing so well now. However, he did not close the door on that notion completely. Reeves noted that maybe if the studio wanted to do an older Batman at a future date, he would be game.
It’s always been a dream [to play a live-action Batman], but [Robert] Pattinson’s got Batman right now, and he’s doing awesome, so maybe down the road. Maybe when they need an older Batman.
