Adam Cozad is an up and coming writer. As a writer for Tarzan, he nailed the script. Critics praised him. He’s known to give a brand new take on older characters, and his writings incorporates the era and the politics of the setting. Suicide Squad will be interesting with this type of approach. Moreover, he’s skillful with adding humour to serious situations, which has become a trademark in the Suicide Squad dialogue. He’s partially noted for his smooth transition skills in writing.

Warner Bros. has taken a huge stepping stone towards the Suicide Squad sequel, but there is a long road ahead of them. They are still in search for a director of the film, they have made overtures to several directors, including Mel Gibson. However, it’s great their attention is on the writing for now.

There is no confirmation of which of the cast will resume their roles, but it’s presumed that Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith) and the Joker (Jared Leto) will reprise their roles. The DC Extended Universe is blowing up. It’s exhilarating to see where they go from here.
