Synopsis: Batman’s arsenal of weapons is turned against Gotham City!
Batman:Eternal picks up right where it left off last week, thankfully. I say that in a good way because last week’s episode was pretty good. This week, we get more of the same, and I mean that in a good way also.
It’s a race against time as Hush now knows the locations of Batman’s secret arsenals. He already blew up one (read last issue), which has consequences for the Dark Knight with enemies (Bard) and allies (Lucius Fox) alike. This week, he gets over his stubbornness and allows Penny-two to join him in his desperate crusade, despite Alfred’s hesitance. As we see on the last page, this ends up backfiring… again making me want to read next week’s issue NOW.
Another solid entry in this epic tale. Kyle Higgins handled the scripting duties while my man Mr. Jason Fabok nails the art (there’s a wonderful shot of Batman on page 2 that will make anyone drool). I’m digging this direction of the story and would be satisfied if we stuck with just this story line from here on out, for I believe this will be one hell of an ending.
