The weekend is all but here and what better way to start it off but with a grade A grain of salt? Well, like it or not that’s what we are getting with this latest rumor surrounding Batman vs Superman, which I’m still calling Worlds Finest.
Cosmic Book News is reporting that an inside source has given them the lowdown on how the Caped Crusader will be portrayed this time around. Allegedly the origin will be a main mix of Year One and Earth One, shown through flashbacks akin to Man of Steel but in lesser volume. And with that bit of information, I leave you to deal with the speculation. Me on the other hand am on the middle of the fence. I do agree that a well placed flashback or two is needed, but not of his parents death, or training with Ras. Instead, pick some of his lesser known moments in his years before crime fighting. Or better yet, since the focus of popular belief is the film will deal with is how “unbound” Superman was and brining in Batman will give him his version of Training Day, show how young Batman was and how he became the man he is and through flashback. I don’t know, I’m just running off at the mouth again. Just give me Denzel in a Batsuit.
