Big news from Warner Bros. has hit the web!
The release date for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad has officially been announced, the blockbuster sequel is set to hit theaters on August 6, 2021.
The new film is confirmed to be a follow-up to 2016’s Suicide Squad and has Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn penning the script and directing. Gunn moved over to Warner Bros. and DC after Marvel Studios fired him as director of GOTG Vol. 3 in July 2018. News that he’d write the film broke in October 2018.
