Sideshow and Bandai have released two new model kits based on the Batmobile from the iconic 1989 Batman movie and the Tumbler from 2005’s Batman Begins.

First up is the Batman ’89 model kit.

This Batmobile’s signature black color scheme truly stands out with parts made of metallic-colored materials and an exterior that has been changed to have a matte surface. The result is an authentic, scale model kit with engravings faithful to its film counterpart.

The interior has also been intricately recreated, with details such as the moving turbine engine and roof section of the cockpit that slides to open and close. Recreate your favorite Batmobile scenes with the machine guns and rocket anchors deployed or in a stored position by changing up the parts.

Once fully assembled the Batmobile measures Height: 9.84″ (25 cm) Width: 13.78″ (35 cm) Depth: 17.72″ (45 cm).

The 2005 Batmobile model kit is composed of metallic-colored materials, and with an exterior that has been changed to a matte, to deliver a deeper texture that makes the black color stand out. This Batmobile certainly does not fall short of its focus on detail.

The suspension system on the front and back tires, the cylinders throughout the vehicle, and the mechanical details on the engine nozzle located on the back of the vehicle have been intricately recreated, while the cockpit shield was reproduced in a smoke gray color.

Soft resin is used for tires that realistically reproduce the grid pattern, bringing even more life into this high-quality full-scale kit.

Once fully assembled the Batmobile measures Height: 7.87″ (20 cm) Width: 13.78″ (35 cm) Depth: 17.72″ (45 cm).

Both these kits require glue for assembly, which isn’t included, and are priced at $47/ £35.60. They’re available for pre-order from the Sideshow Collectibles website now and are both expected to ship March 22- May 22.
