The Batman actor Robert Pattinson has dropped a couple of tidbits of information about the upcoming superhero flick.

At the red carpet for the Academy Museum’s premiere party, Pattinson did a mix of teasing fans, as well as talking about being in the bat-suit. The actor confirmed that he and Catwoman actress, Zoe Kravitz, have a couple of surprises in store at the upcoming DC FanDome virtual comic convention.

He even made hints that we may see some new preview footage from the movie. Perhaps we’ll get some scenes showcasing him as Bruce Wayne and Kravitz as Selina Kyle?

Me and Zoe did some stuff. It’s a fun little thing. There are lots of little surprises for it.

Speaking of preview footage, Pattinson himself has been privy to seeing parts of the movie. So far? He says that what he’s experienced has been pretty good.

I’ve seen some of the movie now and it’s kind of really cool. It’s really cool.”

You have to wonder what parts of the film Pattinson is referring to. Is it the Bruce Wayne drama? Or is he referring to some Batman action? Either way, hopefully, this is a good indicator of the movie as a whole!

Robert Pattinson Having ‘…a Strange Feeling’ in the Bat-Suit

Pattinson also took time to discuss the Bat-suit. Going from appearing in dramas with minimal costuming to a full-on superhero story was a transition for the actor. When Pattinson saw himself in the suit, he really was beside himself.

It’s a strange feeling, I had moments when I was shooting, when you just caught a glimpse of yourself in a reflection and you be like, “Am I actually doing this, this is crazy”. It’s a combination of, the suit does a lot of the work for you, but then when you need to do some work you have to really fight it. It’s a very special feeling to put it on though.

The event’s festivities didn’t end there either, as singer H.E.R. joined Pattinson on the red carpet. The Grammy-winning musical artist declared that she “loves Robert Pattinson” and says meeting him was a “highlight.”

Only in Hollywood…

Check out the interview and the encounter with H.E.R. below.

The Batman is finally set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.

DC FanDome will go live on October 16.
