I have no doubt that there are many fans of the extensive list of DC animated movies, particularly the Batman efforts. For me, the Elseworlds style tales are ones I really enjoy; Gotham by Gaslight and the like. However, one that took me by surprise when it was released, was Batman: Ninja. To see the Dark Knight transported from his normal location to feudal Japan was something that, at the time, I didn’t know I wanted to see. Great, artistic styling and storytelling. Now, on the back of that, Sideshow present to us a new ‘Modern Batman’ figure by Star Ace Toys Ltd. In this case, ‘modern Batman’ means the character as in Batman: Ninja, before he was transported back in time.

In the animated DC film Batman Ninja, The Dark Knight and several of his allies and adversaries are thrust back in time to medieval Japan. Before he is transported in time, Batman has come to rely on modern technology in his fight against crime.
This new Sixth Scale Figure from Batman Ninja features the Modern Batman before he must abandon technology. This high-tech Batman has light-up eyes, a removable cowl piece to show lights beneath, and the body armor also lights up blue. He also comes with a Batarang and a grappling gun. The Deluxe version also has an alternate Bruce Wayne head, a spear, and the Quake Engine.
