On Super Bowl Sunday, director Zack Snyder released new Justice League clips, and announced when the next trailer will drop.

On Twitter, Snyder could not resist getting into the football spirit, in light of the American Super Bowl game. The director released a brief clip of a still-human Victor Stone playing football and scoring a touchdown. Of course, since this is a Zack Snyder film, it’s done in painstaking slow-motion and in the rain.

In the same tweet, Snyder also announced the specific time and date the next trailer for Justice League will hit the internet. Get set for the new trailer on February 14th at 9:14am PST.

Consider it an early Valentine’s Day present for Snyder fans.

Interestingly, this football clip was briefly seen in the original trailer for the theatrical cut of Justice League. However, when the that version was released, the scene was nowhere to be seen in the movie. It seems like Zack Snyder’s Justice League is restoring it back into the story. It will definitely give more background on Cyborg’s life before he became a superhero.

Zack Snyder Launches New Black-Suit Superman Clip

Sunday also had another surprise for Justice League fans. Warner Bros. released a HD clip of a black-clad Superman meeting Alfred. As Alfred is fixing a car, Superman flies in and asks, “I’m assuming you’re Alfred.”

The clip was briefly featured in the Comic-Con trailer of Justice League, back in 2017. We actually see an awestruck Alfred’s reaction to Superman in the clip.

He’d said you’d come. Now let us hope that you’re not too late.

While we didn’t see Superman in the original Comic-Con trailer, fans can now piece together the new clip with the trailer and guess that Alfred said those words to Superman.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will hit HBO Max on March 18th.
