Earlier this week, we gave you a first look at the upcoming board game Gotham: Under Siege. This new Batman: The Animated Series inspired tabletop adventure from IDW Games has 5 players take on the roles of Batman and his allies (Robin, Batgirl, Catwoman, Gordon/Montoya) to stop Gotham’s most notorious criminals from destroying the city.
Gotham: Under Siege is expected to arrive on August 29th and is currently available for pre-order at WB’s online store for $49.95 with free shipping until July 3rd. It’s very rare for the WBShop to offer free shipping and if you look at a little online retailer’s site called Amazon, their listings for the board game have high shipping costs and November shipping dates.
If you’re a fan of Batman, The Animated Series, board games, or any combination of the three then this is a deal you can’t miss. Treat yourself this Independence Day weekend with a nice Batman gift for yourself.
IDW has said that they plan on selling future board game releases within the Batman: The Animated Series universe, which will likely be expansions to the original game.
