Earlier in the week, AT&T’s purchase of Time Warner was deemed constitutional by a district court judge. It seems that the deal would allow AT&T control over all of Time Warner’s assets. For us fans, it means that DC is under control of the telecommunications giant.
Following the disappointing performance of Justice League, fans have been pleading since November of last year for the mythical Snyder Cut of Justice League. The Snyder Cut is purported by fans to be the true version of the film originally intended by Zack Snyder prior to direct involvement from WB and Joss Whedon.
One fan decided that with AT&T officially buying out Time Warner, he would direct his appeal to the customer service Twitter account of AT&T, @ATTCares. Obviously, not intending for any real resolution, the generic response somewhat acknowledges the request.

Does AT&T know about the Snyder Cut?
It’s pretty obvious that the people who run the account had a bot pick out specific words of the text and sent out a generic response that included words from the message. Or this TashaB person was doing the same manually, without realizing the repercussions of their throwaway response.
So does AT&T know about the Snyder Cut? Very likely not and it’s even less likely they’ll release it. I don’t think that there is some weird conspiracy over at AT&T when the word literally just came out that they can purchase Time Warner.
Do I think that the Snyder Cut exists? Yeah, it was reportedly deemed “unwatchable” and well over 2 hours long, prompting Joss Whedon’s hiring. I don’t think that there’s a conspiracy at WB either. I personally believe that they won’t release it because it was likely worse than the theatrical cut and WB is simply ready to cut their losses and move on, hoping to never acknowledge Justice League again. We still have Aquaman and Wonder Woman 2 coming up, after all.
What do you think? Does AT&T know something?
