Batman Brings Boy to Dairy Queen in West Virginia

The Route 29 Batman has to be one of my favorite people in the world. Lenny Robinson was a gentleman who was fortunate enough to retire early and wealthy. He decided to dedicate time and money to becoming a Batman who visited sick children in hospitals. Unfortunately, he passed away in August of 2015.

Although not as high profile as Lenny Robinson, there are people still doing things for their community.

A man dressed as Batman in Mill Creek, West Virginia was visiting the Chamber of Commerce one day and decided to visit Grayson Gragg (such a comic book name). Grayson Gragg is a local boy who is suffering from Chiari malformation, a condition that occurs in the brain and spinal column.

Batman, Batmobile, and Ice cream

The unidentified Batman went to the school and picked Grayson up. Grayson got to ride in the Batmobile to a nearby Dairy Queen for some ice cream.

The Batman offered words of encouragement throughout their time together, expressing that “I just want to give him a moment that will motivate and inspire and teach the rest of the community and the world what it means to be an overcomer.

He sounds like a really good dude, worthy of the cowl.
