News for future installments of DC’s “Earth One” line has been a long time coming. It was announced several months ago that Teen Titans: Earth One – penned by Jeff Lemire with art by Rachel and Terry Dodson – will hit shelves in November of this year. There has been a lot of talk surrounding what’s next for that universe’s incarnations of Batman and Superman and today we he have a little more to go on thanks to Nerdist.
DC has given them the exclusive reveal for the cover art for both Batman: Earth One Vol. 2 and Superman: Earth One Vol. 3. Batman’s next adventure will see the return of Geoff Johns and Gary Frank as the creative team. Superman’s next outing will see somewhat of a change though. J. Michael Straczynski will return to writing duties, but Shane Davis is out and Ardian Syaf is in as artist. Both books will be released in 2015. I know the release date for the Superman one, but I’m not at liberty to divulge just yet. I can’t say the same for Batman, but I’m guessing May or August.
