Will she, won’t she? Ever since the announcement of Batman appearing in the Man of Steel sequel this past summer, the rumor mill has been doing overtime on if Wonder Woman will also fly in to the blockbuster. Warner Bros’. president of creative development and worldwide production Greg Silverman recently said a lot about the subject, without saying much at all.
We are taking it all very seriously and are trying to do a plan that’s respectful to those characters and maximizes the stories as best they can,” Silverman said, dodging the question. “So everything that has been speculated are things that we’ve thought about.
I think our best chances of Wonder Woman on film would be in a third Man of Steel, aka “Trinity.” Let’s face it, MOS didn’t make enough money for Warner Bros., so they brought in The Dark Knight to gain some interest (and money) to the 2015 sequel. The movie doesn’t need anything else. Think about it, Marvel showed plenty of clips of upcoming projects at Comic-Con this past summer, yet all that people were talking about was “Batman vs. Superman,” which only showed a logo. The movie doesn’t need any more.
I don’t know why we need ask who ELSE will be in the upcoming film. Don’t you think the top 2 superheroes in one movie together is enough? What could Wonder Woman bring to the table that we need anyway? I’m fine watching The Dark Knight taking on The Boy Scout, uninterrupted, with a tease at the end of the film for “Trinity.” I’d love to ask Silverman about THAT, but feel he wouldn’t give me a direct answer.
