As you know we have to wait until 2016 to see the Man of Steel sequel featuring the Dark Knight. Not with this blockbuster, right here right now in 2014 we will see Superman and Batman on the big screen. The Lego Movie with much hype is going to bring the two iconic characters together.
In this highly anticipated film Will Arnett is the voice of the Dark Knight who is a key component to the action of the flick helping out the main character Emmet who’s voice is played by Chris Pratt. Make no mistake this adventure movie has “Awesomeness” written all over it.
The legendary Morgan Freeman who voices the character Vitruvius, who was an integral component of the Dark Knight trilogy has come out to say that Arnett is a better “Batman” than Bale!
“Will was much more dynamic, more powerful, more dangerous,” Freeman said.
Arnett has said that he wanted to portray the Dark Knight in an even more serious tone than what Christian Bale did in the Dark Knight trilogy.
“I was going to say he doesn’t take himself seriously, but he takes himself so seriously it’s funny,” said Arnett.
Arnett goes onto saying: “There are a lot of Batmen who are very serious, so we wanted to take that and take it to the extreme. What would it be like if he was incredibly self-unaware?”
The Lego Movie opens in US cinemas today, and hits in Australia (my backyard) February 14.
