Sideshow Collectibles have teamed up with Prime 1 Studio and Blitzway to give us this stunning Batman High-Definition Museum Masterline Statue, based on Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie.
Measuring at a giant 41 inches (106cm), this statue brings to life Michael Keaton’s Batman with incredible detail. Wearing a heavily armored screen-accurate suit made with faux leather cape and cowl with high pointed ears, he is ready to prowl the rooftops of Gotham for his next target. Designed by Bob Ringwood, a lot of the costume design incorporated many elements of Batman’s comic book appearances as well., like his gold utility belt. Coming with two pairs of interchangeable hangs, one a clenched fist and the other relaxed and open, there is also an extra hand holding a Grapple gun.
What we can see under the cowl, around Batman’s eyes and his lower face, are amazingly realistic with the texture of his skin and appearance of a stubble growing back in. To make the eyes look more lifelike, the creators used glass to make them shine Standing on a Batcave-themed base of black metal with his iconic Bat symbol on the front, the four spotlights surrounding him are equipped with LED lights.
