While the Batman: Wayne Family Adventures web series is on hiatus, we can still appreciate the fun they bring to Gotham and Wayne Manor. When it returns, new chapters will be released on Webtoons every Thursday.

You Should Get Kidnapped More Often!

Duke bites off a bit more than he can chew when he willingly gets kidnapped. It turns out to be a blessing in disguise though, when he finds out that he was being used as bait for Maroni’s goons to blow Batman up. Rounding up the family, Batsy lets The Signal take charge with the promise that he can stop the mob boss himself. Remembering his valuable lessons on how to fight crime from his siblings, they make Jason and Cass proud by smashing through the windows to everyone’s surprise. In the end, Duke finally feels like he’s part of the family he has already been accepted into, and they all celebrate their latest win.

It’s not the only time the family teams up though, as some of the siblings ‘rescue’ Batman from his own date with Catwoman. No matter how mad Bruce is, though, Selina’s joy with a rooftop surprise is enough for him not to throttle his children, biological or adopted.

Seeing the family come together to save the day, whether it’s from bad guys or an unsuspecting table, is always nice to see. They meant good, even if they did ruin what I am sure was going to be a proposal.

Seeing Duke finally do what everyone knew he could, and realize that his new family’s behind him, no matter what, was sweet. Yes, he could fight crime like Batman, but in his own way.  We can never get enough of Bruce praising his kids and this was a great way to end a season. I can’t wait for the creators to return and give us some more fun and sweetness.
