Thanks to leaked photos and videos from the Joker: Folie à Deux set, Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn has finally caught in action!
In the photos and videos that were taken in Los Angeles, Gaga’s wearing no visible makeup, wearing a scarf, hat, and coat. She looks more like Dr. Harleen Quinzel before falling in love with Joker and changing her persona completely. Gaga looks to be having a great time on set with the production team, laughing with everyone between scenes.
From Phillips’ valentines teaser, we know that Harley will eventually be wearing her bright, multi-colored makeup and, from the look the characters are sharing, that she’ll be completely devoted to the Clown Prince. It will be interesting to see how he twists the characters into who we know and recognize in the second Joker movie.

Starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, Joker: Folie à Deux is rumored to be a musical. Phillips may be staying true to the comics for Harley’s origin story, with the two characters meeting in Arkham Asylum and making it everyone’s problem. Whether swimming in acid will be involved, we will find out eventually.
