Batman: The Animated Series actor Kevin Conroy has reached out to co-star Mark Hamill, asking him to join him in the CW crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths.
A few weeks back, Conroy confirmed he will guest-star in the event as an older Bruce Wayne. More recently a fan on Twitter asked if Hamill could also participate in the Arrowverse crossover as an older Joker.
Conroy responded enthusiastically. Not only did he express his excitement, but also tagged Hamill’s Twitter handle to reach out.
Very cool idea! Are you listening @HamillHimself ? https://t.co/YXzHr4kdOi

Old Joker vs Elderly Batman
While it is awesome that Conroy is receptive to the idea, how realistic is it for Hamill to guest-star as well? Actually, it’s not that far off the mark. Mark Hamill has previously appeared on CW’s The Flash as an older Trickster , so Hamill does have some familiarity with the Arrowverse show runners. How cool would it be to see him guest-star as the Joker AND reprise his Trickster role?
To the uninitiated, Hamill is famous as the voice of the Joker in BTAS. Similarly, Conroy is famous as the voice of Batman in the same show. Both have gone on to reprise their roles across multiple projects, like Justice League and the Arkham video games. To have both actors sharing a live-action project together would be new territory for them.
Crisis On Infinite Earths starts on December 8 on Supergirl and continue throughout the other Arrowverse shows on The CW.
