Article by Eric Lee

Sideshow Collectibles have opened pre-orders for a bunch of new Batman related goodies.

Batgirl Print

First up, it is the Batgirl Fine Art pint, featuring Barbara’s new outfit. This is-of course- the Sean Murphy designed costume. The print is not only framed, but hand-signed by artist Alex Garner and has an extremely limited run. Only 200 pieces were created.

With the cost being $250 a piece, it isn’t cheap. However, Sideshow may be giving consumers a deal here, given the lavish framing and limited print run. You can pre-order it here and it’s set to arrive between July and September.

‘The Dark Knight Returns’ Statue

Next, is a statue featuring The Dark Knight Returns-era Batman. As you can see Sideshow have captured Batman’s scraggy face wonderfully.

This piece stands at 12.5 inches tall. With the $235 price, it’s valued higher than a normal figurine and is part of the DC Maquette line. You can pre-order this piece here. Late 2019 to winter 2020 is the expected release date.

‘Batman: The Animated Series’ Statue

Finally, the Batman: The Animated Series statue.  Not only is this beauty based on Bruce Timm’s design, but check out the pose. Hardcore BTAS fanatics will instantly recognize it as the the iconic cape-flapping pose from the opening titles. They even added lightning on the back to closely resemble the opening.

The iconic pose the statue is based on

The figure comes in at 8.27″ tall, making it small enough to fit in your hand. The price is $89.99 and the pre-order link is here. Late 2019 to winter 2020 is the expected release date.
