Does Batman Exist In The ‘Supergirl’ Universe?

Does Batman Exist In The Supergirl Universe

On last Monday’s episode of Supergirl, Kara and company discussed the latest exploits of the new vigilante called the Guardian. James Olsen (played by Mechad Brooks) is the man behind the mask. Kara is not a fan of vigilantes, and she mentions her cousin Superman once teaming up with one. “Tons of gadgets. Lots of demons. Vigilantes are nuts,” states Kara. We also know from a previous episode that Gotham City is an actual place in Supergirl’s world.

So we know that there’s a Gotham City, and Kara is talking about her brother working with a vigilante with gadgets, that means only one possible thing… Superman has worked with… Green Arrow.

Just kidding. The clues point to a certain other billionaire playboy who actually lives in Gotham City. He goes by the name Batman. Personally, I hope we get to see a TV version of the Dark Knight in the near future, or at least Batgirl.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist, and airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW. Do you think we will ever see a member of the Bat Family on a CW show? Leave a comment below, and also let us know on our social media.
