In an attempt to win the 2016 E3 conference, and break the internet at the same time, Rocksteady Studios just announced Batman: Arkham VR for PlayStation’s headset this fall. Fans believed the Arkham games were finished after the previous Return to Arkham release was announced a few weeks back. Rocksteady surprised us all last night, however, when they released the teaser trailer below on their Twitter.

Principal designer Bill Green went on to write a Playstation blog post about the game. Green dove into some of the scenery you’ll see in the game, including the Batcave. He also addressed the limitations of the current state of VR, but assured fans that they’ve worked hard to provide a quality game for the masses.
“We all feel that we’ve ended up creating an amazing new Batman experience that is both complementary and a counterpoint to the epic grandeur of Batman: Arkham Knight.”
Batman: Arkham VR releases exclusively for PS4 in October.
