Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Thor: The Dark World) has been tapped to play Killer Croc in the upcoming Suicide Squad film. While Warner Bros. has yet to confirm, The Wrap broke the story and his been quite reliable with Suicide Squad news. It’s not known how big of a role Croc will play in his big screen debut, but I’m very thrilled to see the character come to life.
Suicide Squad also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and Jared Leto as The Joker. Directed by David Ayer, it opens in theaters August 5, 2016.
