Without Alfred, there would be not Batman. He mends his wounds, does monitor duty, and otherwise reminds the Batman of his human limits. The Batman’s batman is an essential part of his supporting cast, and so it makes sense that he’ll be showing up in the new Batman V. Superman film, played by Jeremy Irons. Irons recently reached Detroit to start filming for the movie, giving us all time to ponder what Alfred will be doing in the new film. It’s possible that they’ll be shooting scenes in Wayne Manor, or in the Batcave, but Alfred could simply be accompanying Bruce for his day to day business. We’ll know more as the film draws closer to completion.
